Mpls Downtown Council Annual Gala at The Depot

AV for You provided Audio, Video, Lighting and Staging rental equipment as well as Tech Services for the Mpls Downtown Council’s Annual Awards Gala where they handed out their 2025 Plan Leadership Awards at the Depot Hotel in Minneapolis.

For audio rental equipment we set up four QSC K10 Speakers, Shure & Audio-Technica Microphones, a Zoom H4n Recorder and our Behringer X32 Compact Mixer.

For video rental equipment we set up two Sharp 90” Monitors and two LG 86” Monitors both on rolling stands.  We used our PlayBack Pro Computer and Analog Way Pulse2 Video Switcher to change between PowerPoint and video rolls.  We used a Decimator kit to distribute HD Video to the TV’s.

For lighting rental equipment we used seven Chauvet Ovation E-910FC LED Lights; six for stage wash from a truss tower and one for a gobo.  We used thirty-two or our Eternal Lighting Cube Echo Battery powered uplights for underneath the frosted stage and another twenty American DJ Mega Bar lights to light up the backdrop.  We used our ChamSys QuickQ 10 Lighting board to control the lights.  

For staging rental equipment we set up three panels of pipe and drape using our Rose Brand Grey Drape.  Then in front of that we used our Moddim Bend Tile backdrop. We also constructed a 16’ x 8’ stage using our 4’ x 4’ frosted acrylic stage decks.  Our frosted podium was used on stage as well.
